Ryand leads the firm’s Construction and Real Estate Practice Group. With over a decade of experience in construction law, he delivers deep industry insight to provide strategic solutions to the clients.
He holds both his Bachelor of Law and Master of Law degrees from Universitas Indonesia. He began his career with prominent human rights and legal aid NGOs before transitioning to the private sector as a construction consultant for some of Indonesia’s largest construction companies, where he gained deep industry insight.
He now focuses on construction law, high-stakes commercial litigation, and corporate matters, leveraging his frontline experience across sectors. In 2021, he founded his own venture, ANSA Law, which he has now merged with AVYA. His practice combines strategic advisory with rigorous advocacy for construction, healthcare, and corporate clients.

- Advised an Indonesian construction company in a development dispute with an international hotel group before BANI (Indonesian Arbitration Body)
- Advised a private healthcare group on multiple hospital development projects in Sumatra, covering land acquisition, construction contracts, and regulatory compliance
- Advised one of Indonesia’s largest hospital conglomerates on a hospital development project under a PPP scheme in North Sumatra
- Advised two Indonesian oil and gas construction companies on a joint operation for the reactivation and reconstruction of an oil field complex in Riau, including JO establishment, contract drafting and negotiation, and regulatory compliance
